Lorna closed her eyes and inhaled the soft, floral scent of the roses that filled the garden. There was nothing that pleased her more then to spend a whole day in the gardens with the roses. Green eyes opened again and lit up with child-like excitement as she peered at the closest rose-buds. They had just started to bloom again after a harsh, cold winter and she couldn’t wait until the garden was once again filled with the contrasting red, white and green of the roses against the bushes.
She knew she couldn’t pick the flowers just yet, but she would happily settle for just sitting on the bench and looking at the roses. She had no other tasks to accomplish for the rest of the day and so she knew she would not be bothered unless it was an urgent matter – but then again, father would see to it if it was urgent.
Picking her favourite bench, Lorna sat down and allowed the peace and serenity of the garden to wash over her. Life was good, according to Lorna. She was happily ignorant of the current troubles of the world, where mutants were being hunted like animals. That was a world which her father had protected her from.
All that mattered to Lorna was just her and her garden of flowers.

Morgan had been back on her way home. She knew the garden was often avoided. But not forbidden. Her long black hair flowed behind her as she made her way down the many paths. She often had wondered who kept this garden the way it was. She hardly saw Magneto as a Gardner. but then... it could be some sort of hobby he kept hidden. She chuckled at the idea.
Being loyal to Magneto for a long time made sure Morgan knew the man to a certain level. Her powers allowed her to see and do thing some people could only dream of. It also made Magneto remained interested in her, and what she would grow out to be able to do. Taking a left turn Morgan stopped for a moment and looked at a girl sitting on a bench.
She couldn't say she had ever seen her... wait... by Magneto's side on some of the concerts or speeches he held. His younger daughter no doubt. Unlike Wanda this one was kept from the world. She looked down for a moment and wasn't sure if she was even allowed to speak to her.

The sounds of footsteps alerted Lorna to the presence of a newcomer in the gardens. Looking up curiously, she watched as the dark-haired girl saw her and stopped in her tracks. Lorna was suddenly shy, her cheeks tinged pink as she looked away. She wasn't use to dealing with strangers - a sad fact yet true.
Jaded eyes flickered up nervously towards the other girl, filled with something which can only be described as trepidation. The silence between them just drew out for longer as neither spoke. Licking her lips nervously, Lorna decided to break that silence.
"Hello. Did Father send you? Am I needed?"
She asked, her questions coming out awkwardly one after the other. She looked quite flustered - it was obvious she was unsure how to deal with this stranger. Lorna had not expected that she would be interrupted.
